Self-adjusting 12″ trailer drum brakes is a very nice design for trailer brake system. Al-KO call it Nev-R-Adjust. With the fine-tooth adjuster, with the adjuster cable, self adjusting electric brake assembly will adjust the distance between brake lining and trailer brake kit drum.
